How can you make one too? You'd have to learn a technique called fusion. The process involves choosing pieces of glass that share similar tendencies to expand with heat. As compatible material, the separate pieces fuse once heated and stay together - rather than break - upon cooling. Glass artists stack various colors and shapes to produce each unique design. The approach is much gentler than methods of blown glass, which requires temperatures that are nearly two times greater. However, since fusion calls for about 1100 to 1700 degrees Fahrenheit, so please don't try this at home!
